Overdue Library Book Fines

1. No overdue fines for kindergarten

2. 5¢ per school day, per book for first through sixth grade

Overdue/fine notices will be sent home every Friday in your child's assignment book/folder. If a book is not returned, or a fine not paid by the third notice, a special sign and return notice will be sent home informing parents that their child still has not taken care of his/her library book responsibility. Should this notice not be returned, a phone call will be made to the home and no other library books will be taken from the library until the obligation for the overdue book is handled. These notices will help with the lines of communication to the home. Thank You.

Celebration (Birthday) Books

Each year we offer parents/relatives the opportunity to donate a book to the school library in celebration of their child's birthday or special event. This has been a very popular program. Mrs. Beach has new books available for you to choose from. A bookplate acknowledging your donation is glued to the front inside cover of a new book you choose.
