PORTFOLIO BOOKS

Every year our PTA purchases a portfolio book for each student in the building. The students create the portfolio of their learning throughout the year. In June we will invite parents and community members to visit our school for a relaxing evening, and the students share their portfolios with the visitors. We are also working with consultants throughout the year so as to create an instructional program that will emphasize writing across the curriculum, differentiated instruction, hands-on science and math, book conferencing, and technology integration. We are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning! Please introduce yourself when you are visiting the Guth Elementary School. Our student council members are always thrilled to take visitors on guided tours. We are all very proud of the Dr. Patricia A. Guth Elementary School.
